After 20 years of practice, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Down Under School of Yoga and my Relax and Renew® Level 1 certification with Judith Hanson Lasater. Yoga has always been an important part of my life, and I am grateful to share it with you. My mat is a safe space where I experiment, laugh, cry, reflect, and get to know myself better, and I hope you walk away from my classes feeling more grounded, joyful, and in touch with who you are.
Over the years I have practiced many types of yoga from the very athletic to the very restorative and everywhere in between. Currently, I split my practice time between Vinyasa, Iyangar, and Restorative, so you will see that influence in my teaching. I am a big fan of using props to be comfortable in a pose and think savasana (resting pose) is a critical part of practice.
Off the mat: I have a background in sociology, marketing, and business. I often find a flow state in the kitchen and love to cook, bake, and visit farmer’s markets. In addition to practicing yoga, I stay active through running, lifting weights, and walking. I am passionate about leadership and ensuring that everyone has a voice.
My journey
Yoga with Kimberlee is a joyful recipe of movement, breath, and laughter.
